We want you to love your piece. In-stock jewelry can be returned for a refund or exchange within 30 days of the delivery date, provided it's unworn, undamaged, and returned with its original packaging and any certificates. Returns are always free and fully insured — we email you a prepaid, insured return label.
Made-to-order, custom, engraved, and special-order pieces are final sale — they're created specifically for you and can't be restocked. Loose gemstones are also final sale and not eligible for return. If something isn't right, contact us; we'll always make it right where we can.
To start a return, open the order in your account — or use the Manage your order link from your confirmation/shipping emails, or Find my orders if you checked out as a guest — pick the item and a reason, and we'll email you a prepaid, insured return label. The 30-day window starts when your order is delivered, so a return opens once tracking shows delivery. Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the piece is received and inspected, typically within 5–10 business days.
When you buy a piece as a gift, you can mark the order as a gift at checkout. The recipient receives a gift receipt that does not show any prices — only what the piece is. Each gift order is assigned a gift receipt number the recipient can use to verify a review of the piece they received, or to request a gift exchange.
A gift recipient who would prefer something else may exchange an eligible gift for store credit. Because a gift recipient never sees the purchase price, the only time a dollar amount is shown to a recipient is during a store-credit exchange.
After we receive everything, we need up to 7 business days to inspect and verify the condition of the returned merchandise before issuing any refund, exchange, or store credit.
The merchandise must be returned in its original packaging and be unworn, undamaged, and not tampered with, with any certificates and original components included. If the returned item does not meet these conditions, we will decline the refund, exchange, or store credit and return the merchandise to you. Return shipping for these declined returns is arranged through us so the piece stays fully insured.
Orders can't be cancelled online once they're placed. Fine jewelry often moves into stone sourcing, vendor ordering, or bench work soon after an order is placed, so cancellations are handled personally rather than automatically. If you need to cancel, email us as soon as possible — if the order hasn't yet entered production or shipped, we'll cancel it and refund you in full to your original payment method. Once a piece is in production or has shipped, the returns terms above apply (and made-to-order, custom, engraved, and special-order pieces are final sale).
We give you a realistic estimated delivery window — with buffer — before you check out, so you know what to expect up front. In the rare case we need to revise a ship date, we'll let you know and ask you to confirm the new timeline. If the revised date doesn't work for you, contact us and we'll arrange a full refund — your order is never cancelled without your say-so.
Manufacturing-defect warranty. We stand behind our work. For 1 year from delivery, we cover defects in materials and workmanship — for example, a faulty prong, clasp, or solder joint — with a free repair or replacement. Contact us and we'll arrange an insured return at no charge for the repair. This warranty does not cover normal wear, loss, theft, accidental damage, or work performed by another jeweler.
Repairs. We offer repairs on pieces purchased from us for up to 1 year from purchase. We start with a quick consultation so we understand the scope, then send you a prepaid, insured shipping label — we cover the shipping to send the piece in. Any repair work is quoted and confirmed with you first.
Resizing. We don't offer in-house ring resizing. Between insured shipping each way and turnaround, a local jewelry repair shop is faster and easier on your budget — we're happy to tell you what to ask for. (To get the right size up front, try our printable ring sizer.)
Appraisals. We don't provide insurance appraisals. Your stone's independent certificate (lab and report number), shown on its product page, documents its specifications for your records or insurer.
For high-value pieces we settle payment by bank wire rather than card, after a short private consultation and identity verification. We only send you secure wire instructions — we never process or pull a wire ourselves, and we never ask for remote access to your accounts.
If funds are wired to us without going through the verification and approval flow — for example, by reusing wire instructions from a previous order — we will return the funds to the originating account. Because returning a wire carries real bank costs, returned funds are sent back less a wire-return processing fee:
International returns may also be reduced by any intermediary or correspondent-bank fees charged along the way, which are outside our control.
For your security, we will not accept payment for any future high-value piece without verifying you again first. Each high-value purchase goes through its own verification and approval before we send wire instructions. Verifying once does not pre-authorize future wires.
If you have any questions about a payment or a return, contact us before sending funds — we're glad to walk you through it.
